Locktoberfest Invite

The Trojans competed fiercely this past weekend at the Lockport Invite at Dellwood Park.  The Varsity team finished 8th with a total of 239 points, the F/S squad finished 9th with a total of 254 points.  Dellwood park is without a doubt one of the most difficult cross country courses in the state, if you run 16:00, you are more than likely an all-stater! 

Many athletes competed with a lot of heart, tackling the hills with tenacity!  Follow are a few of the standout runners:

Grant Crist - he was the first finisher for the Trojans in the open race, 24th, with 5k time of 18:23.  He has now broken into the top ten varsity runners! 

Ben Ruffolo - was the number 3 man for the varsity squad, finishing in 54th with a time of 17:22.

Andrew Noll - led the F/S squad with a 33rd place finish and a 5k time of 18:31.

Zack Smith - the freshman finished in 59th for the varsity race with a time of 17:26, which would have placed him 8th in the F/S race.
