Hinsdale South Quad

The Hinsdale South Quad is no longer the "Dual of the Districts" as it once was a few years ago, but there was no drop off from the solid competition that the Trojans faced on Friday night. The North athletes battled with many outstanding performances and seasonal bests, which is no short order on the tight 160m that also has slick surface. The F/S team finished only 4 points behind Hinsdale South's total of 72. The Varsity squad finished in third with a total of 29 points. Your heat winners are listed below.

Many of the North Track & Field Alumni came out to watch the meet! In the front picture you have Pete Claus (Aurora University), Nick blashill (Notre Dame), Mitchell Penninger (Carrol College), Dan Blaney (Benedictine University), Ben Silver (Miami of Ohio), Micheal Lifson (Penn). Other Alumni that were in attendance that were not pictured were Syed Kamran (Loyola), Eric Weil (Carrol College), Tom O'Hearn (ISU), James Blair (Marquette). In addition, we had many PR's in the 1600m, and the shot put. A Sepcial congratulations goes out to Marc Mathy, Joe Carter, Ryan Clevenger, Andrew Noll, and James Diamond, all of whom broke 5 minutes in teh 1600 for the first time. Also, a special congratulations to Nich Stiechmann and Marckus Simmons for throwing over 40ft in the shot put for the 1st time.
